US Election 2024: Mike Pence announces his withdrawal from presidential race, says ‘Not my time’

Former US Vice President Mike Pence has said he won't run for president in 2024. He gave his reasons at a conference in Las Vegas. He mentioned money problems and not doing well in the polls. He said he's going to help other Republican leaders instead.

He made this announcement on a Saturday. He said, "I've been traveling around the country for six months, and I've realized that now is not the right time for me." He thought about it a lot and prayed about it, and now he's stopping his campaign for president.

But he also promised that he won't stop fighting for conservative values. He's going to keep supporting principled Republican leaders across the country.

Most people didn't know he was going to announce this, not even the event planners. He had started running for president back in June 2023. Before that, he was the Vice President, and before that, he was the governor of Indiana and a congressman.

Pence had been the Vice President under President Trump. Now, he was trying to be the Republican candidate for president in 2024, competing with Trump.

Back in 2021, Pence had a different opinion from Trump. He didn't agree with Trump's claims about the 2020 election. In August 2023, he told CNN that he did what he believed was right under the Constitution. We kindly request you to disseminate this news and provide your insights in the comments section. Thank you
