Joe Biden's Meeting With Arab Leaders Called Off After Gaza Hospital Strike
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh accused the United States of being responsible for the attack. He said the U.S. supported Israel's actions. Several countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey, blamed Israel for bombing the hospital.
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the hospital deaths were caused by "barbaric terrorists in Gaza." He believes those who killed Israeli children also killed Palestinian children. Israeli President Isaac Herzog called Hamas's accusations a "blood libel," and the Islamic Jihad denied the allegations.
