Microsoft, Boeing, T-Mobile US rise premarket; Alphabet, Texas Instruments fall

In the United States, stocks went up and down on Wednesday as investors looked at the earnings of some big tech companies.

Here are the main movers of U.S. stocks before the market opened today:

1. Microsoft's stock went up by 3.7%. The company did better than expected in the first quarter of the year. They made more money because more people used their cloud service called Azure.

2. Alphabet's stock went down by 5.9%. Google's parent company didn't make as much money from their cloud computing as people thought they would.
T-Mobile
3. Boeing's stock went up by 3.7%. They still think they can make a lot of extra money this year, even though they had some problems with their 737 planes because of issues at their supplier, Spirit AeroSystems.

4. Texas Instruments' stock went down by 6.1%. They didn't make as much money in the third quarter as people expected, and they don't think they'll make as much money in the next quarter either because not as many people want their computer chips.

5. Deutsche Bank's stock went up by 7.1%. The bank said they will buy more of their own shares next year and give more money back to their investors.

6. Thermo Fisher's stock went down by 0.8%. The company makes equipment for medical stuff, but they didn't make as much money this year because not many people wanted to buy their products and the things they needed to make them cost more.

7. T-Mobile's stock went up by 1.4%. The wireless carrier thinks they will make more extra money this year because they added more subscribers and made more money than people thought they would.

8. General Dynamics' stock went up by 2.2%. They still sell a lot of military equipment, even though they didn't make as much profit this quarter because their costs went up.

9. CME Group's stock went down by 2.5%. Even though they made more money in the third quarter, their stock price went down because people used their products to protect themselves from the ups and downs in the market.
