US Election 2024: Donald Trump vows to bar Gaza refugees; revoke visas of 'antisemitic' students

At a campaign event in Iowa, former President Donald Trump promised that if he got elected again as the president, he would make rules to stop people who support Hamas from coming to the United States. He talked about how some foreign students on college campuses openly support terrorists, and he said he would cancel their student visas and send them back home. He also mentioned sending law enforcement officers to protests supporting Hamas to arrest and deport immigrants who openly support that group.

This happened during the Israel-Hamas war, where many people died on both sides. Trump wants to stop people from entering the US if they don't acknowledge Israel's right to exist. He mentioned banning people from certain countries before, and he wants to make immigration rules even stricter. He said, "If you want to abolish the state of Israel, you're disqualified, if you support Hamas, you're disqualified, and if you're a communist, Marxist, or fascist, you are disqualified."

It's important to note that the United States, along with many other countries, considers Hamas a terrorist organization.

On a different note, President Joe Biden plans to visit Israel and Jordan, and this visit was announced by the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. This visit comes at a time when there are problems in Gaza, and tensions are rising as Israel prepares for a possible ground operation in that area.
